Electric blinds

‘Lovely and bright’ - is something that we say often when describing a room we love, but what we really mean is: 'the room has the right amount of light'. With blinds you have precise control over the amount of light you let in, allowing you to manage the mood, protect valuable furnishings against bright sunlight and add an extra level of privacy, when required.

Our new electric blinds are now available to match the full range of Origin bi-folding doors supplied and installed by Paxtons and Cambridge Bi-folding Doors. Installed at the time of the door installation, or fitted at a later date, the blinds are operated electrically by remote control. 

Remote-controlled operation

In larger rooms, where multiple blinds are installed, the remote can be configured to operate blinds individually or as a group. The remote can also be used to activate up to 4 random actions over the course of a 24-hour period, maintaining the appearance of an occupied home when you are out at work or away on holiday.

The blinds are available in a wide selection of materials including a ‘block-out’ range, specifically designed to reduce light show-through to a minimum. The blinds are powered electrically and only require connection to a normal plug socket to operate. 

In-glass blind range

Paxtons also offer a range of ‘in-glass’ blinds. Fitted between the two panes of glass that form the double-glazed units, the blinds offer the ultimate in practicality and sophistication. Our ‘in-glass’ range is available as electrically operated remote controlled units or non-powered units operated manually.
